Weingartner Elected Young Republican National Federation Vice Chairman at-Large
Krogh, Lass, Gallacher also accept appointments
Jason Weingartner, former New York State Young Republicans, Inc. Chairman, was recently elected as the Vice Chairman At-Large of the Young Republican National Federation (YRNF) at their biennial convention this summer in Indianapolis.
Other New Yorkers were also appointed to various positions in the YRNF. New York State Young Republican Chair Lynn Krogh of New York County now serves as the Executive Director of the YRNF. Longtime State YR Parliamentarian Edward Lass of Albany County was selected to be YRNF Assistant Parliamentarian. And Jennifer Gallacher of New York County has been chosen to be chair of the YRNF Membership Committee in addition to her duties as National Committeewoman for New York.
Krogh congratulated all of her fellow New Yorkers on their new positions. “I’m very happy to see so many from my home state serving in important positions and shaping the future of the Republican Party. I’m delighted to see that Jason’s hard work and service to our Young Republican chapters country-wide has paid off in what was an exciting election. He revamped our state organization into what we have today and I know he’ll bring that same energy and enthusiasm to his new job on the national level.”
Weingartner also remarked, “It is truly an honor to have been elected to this job. I’m honored that my fellow Young Republicans traveled great distances to vote for me and I look forward to the tough job ahead with our goal being to renew our Grand Old Party.”
