NYSYR Debate Invitation to NYGOP Chair Candidates
The following invitation was extended to all declared candidates for New York State Republican Party Chairman:
The New York State Young Republicans (NYSYR) would like to take this opportunity to invite you and all declared candidates for New York State Republican Party Chairman to a forum for an exchange of ideas. The NYSYR believes that a healthy debate focused on the future of our Republican Party here in New York would give County Chairman, State Committeemen and women the chance to hear you articulate your vision and plan.
Our Grand Old Party in New York is in need of leadership and vision at this important crossroads. We need to rebuild the grassroots operation both as a means of identifying new and exciting candidates and also to build and enhance organizations that can support such candidates. This is something that our organization is committed to and we look forward to working with the next Chairman to make it a reality.
The NYSYR has non-endorsement policy and therefore we have not endorsed a candidate in the race for NYGOP Chairman. We look to give you and your opponents an un-biased medium to communicate with all interested parties. For those unable to physically attend the event, we will stream the debate live.
As we have done in the past, the YRs have played host to many debates and straw polls, ensuring a fair process for all participants. As Young Republican Professionals, we look forward to an exciting exchange of ideas.
